The F1S Series One is a wheel replacement for the Logitech stock round wheel. The overall weight is still slightly under the stock Logitech wheel, giving a slightly better force feedback. It also features an integrated magentic shifter addon.
The wheel and the grips are designed to closely match the look and feel of F1 steering wheels, whilst keeping the full functionality of the Logitech buttons, dials and D Pad. The grips are ergonomically shaped and work well with and without gloves. The main plate is made out of 3K twill carbon fibre with a gloss finish. The rim diameter is 290mm, closely matching current F1 rims.
The F1S Series One is fully compatible with the MVH Quick Release. You do not need to purchase the magnetic shifter addon as it is already integrated in the F1S.
As an engineering company, we use FDM, CNC and SLA machines on a daily basis. The F1S uses all three manufacturing techniques and while many after market wheels use primarily 3D printing or simple CNC plates, we combine all three processes to create the stiffest and lightest design possible. All detailed parts are SLA printed with a 0.05mm level of detail using the highest grade engineering resin mixes available. All parts on the wheel can be serviced and swapped out as this is not a glued construction but bolted togther with stainless steel hex screws.
The F1S Series One comes with a full year of no-questions-asked-warranty.
All our F1S wheels come with hand wrapped leather grips.
There are 3 grip options to choose from:
Black, grade A goat suede leather with 0.9mm thickness
Please note: For Suede leather we highly recommend gloves when racing.
Black, grade A smooth sheep leather with 0.9mm thickness
Hand covered, black, smooth artificial/vegan leather (hard wearing and durable as Alcantara) with 0.9mm thickness
Please note: The grip bolts are now front mounted (and not shown in the product photos) as this adds to the overall strength of the grips.
The F1S Series One comes with a team sticker for the top of the wheel while the team colours are reflected in the button and button guard colours. The MVHStudios orange and black is pre-installed on all orders and if you choose any other team colour option, you will additionally recieve the corresponding buttons and button guards, sticker and an allen key to swap out the parts (follow this video for instructions).
The F1S Series One is available for the G29, G920, G923 Playstation 4/5 and the G923 Xbox. They are not identical, so please choose the correct version. If you have any doubts, contact our support, live chat or join our Discord server so we can help you identify your wheel base.
The wheel comes complete and assembled but you will need to install it onto the Logitech wheel base. The installation is very easy to do, does not require any wiring or soldering skills and is fully reversible, so it will not void your warranty. The Logitech wheel, pedals, magnetic shifter and the Quick Release are NOT included.
