Description
The FFB Fanatec Adapter allows you to enable the force feedback on any Fanatec wheelbase with any wheel that uses a Fanatec QR1 or QR2 quick release.
Design and development
Together with our engineering partners at Talenki, we offer the FFB adapter for sim racers to use any wheel on their Fanatec system with force feedback enabled. Once plugged in, the adapter emulates a Clubsport Formula wheel. Please note the adapter is not designed as an alternative to the Fanatec Podium or Universal Hub as it lacks any inputs but allows for non Fanatec rims to work with force feedback enabled.
CNC Aluminium enclosure
The FFB adapter is encased in a high grade, anodized aluminium enclosure which features a stem for easy insertion and removal.
Multi-layer PCB
The FFB adapter is based on a multi-layer pcb with 8 gold plated pins for excellent connectivity and durability.
Compatibility
The adapter is compatible on PC and Playstation with the follwing wheel bases:
- Podium DD1 and DD2
- CSW all versions 1, 2 and 2.5
- CSL Elite Xbox and PS4 versions
- Older CSL
- CSL DD
- CSL DD Pro
- CS DD
- CS DD+
Please note the adapter is not compatible with the MVH Series 3 wheels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Xbox supported?
No. Xbox requires an authentication chip in the wheel and a 3rd party wheel will therefore not be recognized by the Xbox, even with the FFB adapter.
Will it work on Playstation?
Yes, however you will still need to find a way to activate any button inputs the game might need as the FFB adapter does not replace or emulate any button inputs.
