Description
The F1L Series 3 is is a 280mm formula style wheel with integrated 3.5 inch telemetry display, 22 buttons and rotary dials, Hall effect magnetic paddle shifters and full console and PC compatibility. Please note, this is the wheel only - it does not include the motorbase, quick release system or direct drive system.
Design
We want to make sim racing affordable without locking you into an ecosystem. So we designed our F1L Series 3 to bridge the gap from entry level sim racing to pro level sim racing by making it possible to use the same wheel on an entry level wheelbase such as the Logitech G29/G920/G923 series and then seamlessly, connect it to a Direct Drive wheelbase from other sim racing brands.
Logitech Compatibility and Beyond
The "L" in F1L stands for Logitech highlighting the wheels ability to be compatible with the Logitech G29/G920, G923Xbox, G923 Playstation and the Direct Drive Pro (PC only). This means when you swap the stock round wheel for the F1L Series 3, you will have all the inputs you need to play on Playstation 4/5, Xbox and of course PC. Additionally, features such as the integrated telemetry will work independently of the system you are playing on. Furthermore, should you decide to upgrade to a different wheelbase, your F1L Series 3 will transition with you as it is compatible with many newer, direct drive systems.
Fanatec Compatibility
The Series 3 wheel line is compatible with Fanatec (DD1, DD2, CSL DD, DD Pro) on PC and Playstation (Xbox is not supported). We achieved this by integrating our own electronics which emulates the Fanatec wheel electronics, enabling the Force Feedback without the need of a podium hub. You will only require the quick release from Fanatec, depending on your Fanatec wheelbase (the Fanatec quick release is not included). The F1L emulates a Fanatec Clubsport Porsche 918 RSR wheel within the Fanatec app in PC mode. Please also note that there are limitations on which buttons and dials can be mapped as the wheel offers more buttons than a standard Fanatec wheel. Please see our FAQ and support centre for details.
Thrustmaster Compatibility
The Series 3 wheel line is compatible with Thrustmaster systems that use the original, screw based quick release (please check the compatibility list in our support centre). We achieved this by integrating our own electronics which emulates the Thrustmaster wheel electronics. Please also note that there are limitations on which buttons and dials can be mapped as the wheel offers more buttons than a standard Thrustmaster wheel and in some cases only PC can be supported (depending on the Thrustmaster servo base). Moza, Simagic, Simucube and more
With the F1L Series 3 we created a wheel that is compatible with Simucube, Simagic, Moza (R16, R9, R5, R3) and any other direct drive system that will accept third party PC based wheels with a 70mm standard 6 hole wheel pattern (Xbox is not supported on any wheelbase outside of G920 or G923Xbox Logitech and Xbox Thrustmaster systems). When connected to a PC with the supplied coiled cable, it becomes a USB device that is recognized as a Windows game controller. Please note, we do not include the quick release of the various wheelbases at the moment. Only Logitech G Series mounts and Thrustmaster mounts will not require any addtional quick release.
Playstation and Xbox
The F1L will work on PS5 and Xbox. Depending on the Logitech wheelbase you have, choose the correct mount version of the F1L Series 3. Note that while the F1L has many inputs, G920 wheels have less and not all can therefore be mapped. See the support centre for which buttons are mappable. Please note that Xbox is only supported when using a G series Logitech wheelbase (G923Xbox and G920).
Quick Release
The Series 3 is compatible with our quick release system but it is not a requirement and it is not included. Should you wish to use it with our quick release, add the S2 adapter as well as the motor mount to your order. All F1L G Series wheels ship with a permanent connector which directly mounts the wheel onto your Logitech G29/G920/G923. If you prefer to use the F1L Series 3 as your permanent replacement to the stock Logitech round wheel you will not need anything else.
3.5 inch Telemetry Display
The 3.5 inch telemetry display is fully compatible with any game (for example Gran Turismo 7, F1, etc). that provides telemetry data via Wifi. It features the same game support as our popular stand alone Telemetry Display as well as free over the air updates and support. Due to the energy efficient design, the integrated display will not need any cable when used on a Logitech G29/G920/G923 or on a Fanatec system.
RGB REV LEDs and Flag LEDs
The F1L features fully adjustable REV LEDs and Flag LEDs. This feature also works on the Logitech G920 as it is being controlled through our own electronics. Please note, this feature requires telemetry data from the game - see our supported games list in the support centre.

As standard the F1L ships with a high quality vinyl, sticker sheet.
Grips and materials
One of the most important aspects of a wheel is how it feels in your hand which is why we have opted to cast the F1L grips out of durable polyurethane (60A shore scale). The ergonomic design of the grips feel soft enough for long compfortable sessions without need to wear gloves and yet give excellent grip, no matter how hard you race.
Carbon Fibre PLA enclosure
We use the latest carbon fiber reinforced PLA with improved stiffness and strength for all our enclosures. PLA-CF exceeds the mechanical properties of standard PLA in bending resistance and impact strength by between 20% and 115%, Additionally we use SLA printers to manufacture most of the additional parts to achieve ABS like properties and finish, as well as CNC machined parts.

EU Shipping
If you are ordering from within the EU, you will not need to pay for import duties as we are a registered IOSS company ( IM3720013394 ). We ship from the United Kingdom and for exported items we do not charge any value added tax but are required by law to supply a commercial invoice declaring the value of your order. On import to your country, this invoice is used to calculate any import tax and duties.

In one word: I LOVE this wheel. It looks fantastic, feels great, and everything works flawlessly.
The built-in display is sharp, bright, and large enough to provide all the essential information a driver needs. In my opinion, this is one of the best wheels available in this price range.
It’s a solid, rigid wheel with no flex at all. However, since it’s made of plastic, it feels a bit on the lighter side. The buttons on the top sound slightly hollow but feel firm and provide satisfying feedback.
The rotary buttons at the bottom aren't true rotaries—they shift left and right before snapping back to the center. This design works perfectly for adjusting brake bias or differential settings.
The magnetic shifters click well, but something about them doesn’t feel completely refined. Their thickness, combined with the fact that they’re plastic, might be the reason. I believe a thinner steel design would improve the feel significantly.
As for the screen, Like I said it’s sharp and clear, but I wish it displayed a pop-up when changing ERS settings between 0, 1, 2, and 3.
Overall, I’m very happy with this wheel. If these guys ever release a version with an aluminum body, thumb rotaries, and more buttons on the top (like three on each side), I’d definitely buy it!

Really surprising, well done
The wheel is overall good. It's a decent price for a wheel with a screen. But, most of its construction is plastic, but it feels firm. My biggest disappointment is with one of the knobs not working properly with Logi Pro DD base. Even tho support claimed that it's a technical limitation due to their mapping to a G29 (?), they do advertise it for the DD pro and again, although they claim that in their FAQ they explain about this, it's not clear at all that it won't work properly. To be fair, they offered to return the item, but it would just cost me the shipping and the hassle. Anyways, I thought it would be important to make it clear.
Received my F1L Series 3 a few weeks ago, set up exactly how the YouTube clearly describes. Everything works perfectly and made extremely good quality.
Can’t recommend enough!!
Well I've been in the market for a new wheel upgrade on my G923. I was was never fully happy with what I saw until I stumbled on the MVH website. Instantly drawn the new F1l s3 it was a now brainer to get on that waiting list. My wheel is now here and installed. Nothing was too hard to do and using the videos made it simple. It all worked perfectly first time and the stickers finish it off with a personal touch. Adding your choice of supplied logos was easy also and even creating your own fun and simple. MVH have really thought this through and the support page has everything you need to get it done. A very happy customer here. I will be looking to go for quick release conversion soon, wall mounts for storage and maybe the new coloured buttons as a treat. I would suggest only one thing and that is I'm using this on my Xbox rig and the sticker set does not contain A's B's or Y's. Others are duplicated so there is room to have them? Don't hesitate, get one today.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a quick release?
If you are using a Logitech G Series (G29,G923,G920) you do not need the MVH quick release. The quick release is optional and useful if you wish to use the F1L and be able to swap to the stock round wheel from Logitech for games that need a round wheel (eg. Rally, street, drifting, trucks, etc.).
Can I buy it excluding a mount?
You need to get the correct version for your wheelbase. The F1L Series 3 version excluding a mount is only for customers who already have our direct drive PC USB adapter.
Which version do I need if I already have the MVH Quick Release?
If you are using a Logitech G Series (G29,G923,G920) with the MVH quick release, you need to get the the correct G Series F1L Series 3 (G29 or G923PS or G923Xbox or G920) and additionally purchase the S2 adapter.
What do I need to use the F1L on a Fanatec system?
The F1L emulates a Fanatec wheel and is recognised by the Fanatec app as a Fanatec Clubsport Porsche 918 RSR wheel. You will need to purchase a QR1 (not lite) or QR2 (normal or Pro) from Fanatec to connect the F1L to the Fanatec wheel base. Follow our installation videos for details.
Will it run on Playstation4/5 and a Fanatec system?
Yes. The Playstation needs the wheelbase to be a Playstation authenticated version, it does not need the wheel to be made for Playstation. Ensure that your Fanatec system is a Playstation version.
Will it run on XBox and a Logitech G920 / G923Xbox?
Yes.
Will it run on XBox and a Fanatec/Moza system?
No. The Xbox needs the wheel to be a Xbox authenticated version.
Can I use the F1L on a Logitech DD Pro?
Yes you can use the F1L in PC mode (Playstation support will be added soon). You will need to purchase the Logitech RS QR adapter from Logitech. Follow our installation videos for details. Please note that the buttons and rotaries are hardwired to the layout of the G29 Series version of the F1L Series 3. See the support center for details.
Can I use the F1L on Thrustmaster?
Yes. All Thrustmaster bases that use the classic screw quick release work with the F1L Series3. If you have the updated, new quick release (for example on the T818, T598) you need to purchase the quick release upgrade from Thrustmaster. Please note that the TGT II is only supported in PC mode.
Can I use the F1L on a Moza system?
Yes. You will need to purchase the Moza quick release adapter from Moza Racing. Follow our installation videos for details.
Can I use the F1L on a different PC system?
Yes. We run the F1L on Simucube and equally well on any other PC system that allows wheels with a 70mm diameter hole pattern. You will need the F1L Series 3 excluding mount and additionally the Direct Drive PC adapter.

Which games are supported by the display?
We constantly update our telemetry displays (standalone and wheel displays) with over the air updates. When a new game comes out we push an update to the displays to ensure you can always use the latest games. You can download the current compatibility list here and in our support center.
