Bash HSX
Description
The Bash HSX is an evolution of our ground breaking Bash Pro active sim racing shifter. The HSX is built around the genuine Nissan Silvia short shifter, using a gate locking feature powered by real time in-game telemetry data.
Active Lockout
Above the standard features an H-shifter offers, the Bash HSX features tactile feedback when a gear is engaged. Whenever gear engagement conditions are not met, the gate remains in a closed state, which physically prevents you from moving the gearstick into gear. Upon every gear change, a servo motor actuates a trigger mechanism that releases the gate lock in the matter of a few milliseconds.
Active Lock-in
The HSX brings in a new feature, the active lock in gear. This mechanism along with the existing Lock-in-neutral ensures an even more realistic shifting and simulation of the gearbox.
Operating Modes
Using the OLED screen on the Bash HSX or our custom Simhub plugin, you can easily switch between H-Dogbox, H-Sync and Sequential Electronic shifting.
Console, Logitech and Fanatec Compatibility
Using a custom adapter, the HSX can be plugged directly into Fanatec and Logitech wheelbases via the wheelbase shifter port.
Control buttons
The HSX features 3 backlit tactile buttons that act as mappable button inputs, all freely configurable within Simhub.
Emulated Clutch Pedal
The Emulated Clutch allows the BASH HSX to bypass game limitations by using SimHub’s "Control Mapper" to create a virtual clutch axis. By linking your pedals to this axis, the shifter can programmatically "press" the clutch to ensure smooth gate unlocking and gear engagement. This is essential for the advanced "Trained" mode, enabling realistic shifting logic that isn't restricted by a game's native telemetry.
Training Modes for different gear ratios
The Bash HSX features a training mode to memorize gear ratios for each car in the different games.
Truck Simulator Mode
The Bash HSX will change into Truck mode on starting Euro Truck Simulator or American Truck Simulator. Depending on the type of gearbox selected in the game, the Shifter will not allow moving the stick into non-existing gear positions. ‘Floating gears’ or shifting without clutch is possible when ‘Advanced’ H-Shifter mode is selected in the game options menu.
